Gardos Tower Luxury Living
Modern apartment living room with asymmetrical TV wall at Gardos Tower, Zemun
A Color Story That Breathes Life
The palette we chose walks the line between warmth and vibrancy. Deep wenge wood sets the stage, complemented by pistachio green, soft blues, greys, cream, and browns. Lighter marble details and black accents add sophistication. Together, these tones form a dynamic canvas: primarily serene and grounded, yet ready to spring to life with colorful pops in furniture and decor.
The TV Wall: Asymmetry Perfected
The first thing visitors notice is the TV wall—a masterpiece of design ingenuity. Crafted from wenge veneer MDF and Calacatta Vagli Oro marble, it confronts a challenge head-on: a structural column on the right side that couldn’t be removed. By embracing asymmetry and layering materials cleverly, we created the illusion of perfect balance. Angled shelves and colored lighting inject modern flair, while the marble veil brings a hint of luxury and timeless elegance.
Kitchen & Coffee Corner: Minimalism Meets Warmth
The kitchen is minimalist, yet every inch is intentional. It mirrors the living room’s materials and colors, creating visual cohesion. Beyond its practicality, it boasts a dedicated coffee corner—a small luxury for daily routines. Wood and marble infuse warmth, ensuring the space feels as inviting as it is functional.
Bedrooms: Calm, Layered, and Textured
The bedroom tells its own story. One wall features textured wallpaper in a calming solid tone, while the adjoining wall introduces a nature-inspired print that complements it perfectly. The space radiates tranquility, with deep, natural tones dominating—but subtle, vibrant details keep it visually engaging.
A Home That Evolves
Gardos Tower isn’t just a static design; it’s a living, evolving home. Swappable accent pieces—lamps, ottomans, chairs—allow the family to refresh the look effortlessly. Functionality is paramount: this is a home that accommodates family life and remote work while never sacrificing style.
Living Above Centuries of History
Perched atop Gardos Hill, the apartment overlooks Zemun with sweeping views steeped in history. Archaeological surveys reveal that this area has been inhabited almost continuously over millennia—from Neolithic settlements to Celtic fortifications. Living here is not just about the apartment itself; it’s about connecting with a place that has witnessed centuries of life and culture.
